WWE Presents Over the Limit 2011 PPV Predictions

WWE presents Over the Limit. The telecast begins at 8:00 PM EDT and features John Cena defending the WWE Championship against The Miz in an I Quit Match. As is always the case, you can let me know what you think will be happening at the show by clicking on the comments link below. I just ask that you help me keep this site non-spoiler and avoid posting anything that happens on this week's edition of Friday Night SmackDown until that show airs.

R-Truth vs. Rey Mysterio - This feud is just a way for R-Truth to bide his time until John Morrison returns from his neck injury in a few weeks. A win here makes him a more serious threat to Morrison and also helps back up his claims that there is a conspiracy holding him back from getting a title shot. Here is an interesting truth, the last time that R-Truth won a singles match on PPV was at this event last year when he beat Ted DiBiase.Predicted Winner: R-Truth

WWE Tag Team Championship: ChampionsKane & The Big Show vs. CM Punk & Mason Ryan - There are lost of rumors that CM Punk will be leaving the company when his contract expires in a few months. By getting the win here, he not only gives the rub to Mason Ryan and the rest of the Nexus, he will also be allowed to go onto SmackDown and start a feud with the old Nexus members in the Corre. Predicted Winners: CM Punk & Mason Ryan

Intercontinental Championship: Champion Wade Barrett vs. Ezekiel Jackson - Ezekiel Jackson has one singles title to his credit. Unfortunately, his championship celebration didn't last too long because the ECW Championship was retired immediately following his title victory. I think we will be seeing Ezekiel winning this title eventually. Unfortunately, with Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel not scheduled for anything on this show, they will be free to help Wade Barrett retain the belt. Predicted Winner: Wade Barrett

World Heavyweight Championship: Champion Randy Orton vs. Christian - If Randy Orton wins this match cleanly, that would pretty much end this feud. Then what? This is the only main event storyline that is available for SmackDown at this point. With Mark Henry not scheduled for this show, I think that he will make his presence felt. My gut feeling is that we will be seeing a Christian heel turn in the not-too-distant future and the events that take place at this show will help fuel that fire. Predicted Winner: No Contest

Kiss My Foot Match: Jerry Lawler vs. Michael Cole - With the Kiss My Foot stipulation being added to this match as well as Jack Swagger walking out on Michael Cole, I hope that we will finally be getting a conclusion to this feud. For the past few weeks, Cole's comments have made it appear that he will soon be feuding with the WWE Divas.Predicted Winner: Jerry Lawler

I Quit Match for the WWE Championship: Champion John Cena vs. The Miz - John Cena has made JBL, Randy Orton, and Batista say "I Quit" on PPV. I can't imagine John Cena ever saying those words, especially not to The Miz. If this was any other type of a stipulation match, I'd be less certain of the outcome but this is easier to predict that an Undertaker bout at WrestleMania. Predicted Winner: John Cena
