Popular South-Indian Actress Sujatha Died

Chennai, Wednesday, April 06, 2011: Popular South-Indian actress Sujatha died here today at her residence in Chennai. She was 58. She has acted in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi films.

 Sujatha has become popular in Telugu with Gorintaku and Guppedu Manasu films. The actress has shared screen beside many great actors such as NTR, ANR, Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth, Shobhan Babu, Krishna etc.
Some of her noted films include Edantstula Meda, Circus Ramudu  Prema Tarangalu, Bebbuli, Bahadurapu Batasari, Gurusishyulu, Sandhya, Suthradarulu, etc. She has also made her appearance in Nagarjuna’s Sri Rama Dasu in a vital role, which is also her last Tollywood film. The film-industry expressed their shock on the sudden demise of the actress.

Sujatha was suffering from illness for quite some time. She is a native of Maradu in Ernakulam. She has acted in all the south Indian languages and was known for her elegant and at the same time strong portrayal of her roles.
